natures designs and watercolors

Being open to inspiration is a constant in the mind of an artist.  That is why I am enjoying the art journalling project.  It is all about play and  experimentation.  This is a portion of a page in watercolor that I am working on, still  the first layer.  Below are photos from a beach front cafe where we had lunch yesterday where I saw this iron trellis and its patterns. They have little to do with each other, but are interesting.  When we file such scenes in our unconscious
we never know when they may speak to us.
