This painting reminded me of mermaids crying for the damage we do to the environment, especially our oceans. Like you I am watching and waiting as that capsized ocean liner lies in the sea on the Italian coast with her millions of gallons of fuel.
When I looked up the term "mermaid tears"I found it was actually what scientists call tiny particles of plastics that are clogging the sea.
Since seeing those endangered tiger cubs, this seemed a good photograph to share.
This painting has found a good home, like our tiger cubs.
