This painting is 19 1/2 x 20 1/2 inches framed. I have always loved a circular format. This piece gave me a merry chase. I used layers upon layers of collage and paint as it pushed me in the direction it desired.
Somehow, I moved through the years beyond the tools of the trade, so to speak, and find myself immersed in the movement of the water and the paint as it creates a visual concert with the playing of texture in the melody. I have learned to listen, to take time, to let a painting in progress sit and talk to me even when I am not looking at it. Hard lesson to learn.....

OUT TO THE WORLD!!
Somehow the Out to the World message did not get attached so here I am again! Such is life in the computer age...always blame the computer, right??
This is the first time I am letting the blog fly and sending it far afield. For those who have already seen it, thank you for your encouragement. It is great to know that you are first, able to access it and then that the work is coming through.
The painting just posted before this is Solstice and it is an acrylic collage, 15 x 15 inches glassed and framed.
