MANTRA

Mantra came about this morning, as I anxiously awaited news from my sister's
cardiac testing. My prayers followed her and spilled out onto this canvas.
All is well, thankfully, and we rejoice.
This piece has gone through metamorphosis. It needed definition and
color and here it is! Right now I am working with smaller canvases.
A large piece of art board awaits attention, perhaps calling for a lot of
texture. Mantra has layers of such texture, like the layers of our
hopes and dreams.
